My art is about experimenting with colour and the rhythm of existence that is revealed to me. I approach each new canvas with excitement, passion and honesty.

I paint from photographs, real life, or my imagination. Before I begin, I usually have the size, colours and composition in place. Then I am led to create in my own bold, vibrant and colourful images. I enjoy both oil and acrylic mediums and will vary the sizes of my canvases from small to large depending on the vision that I have of my creation.

Everything is of interest to me which is why there is a variety of subject matter in my art. I enjoy exploring ways of translating reality into my interpretation of that realism. My inspirations come from the fascination and expressive qualities of the world around me. Whether it be landscapes, flowers, still lives, abstracts or figuratives of people or animals, I explore them all with passion and energy.
